What better way to celebrate the newest ChildUp preschool math game than organizing a tournament? Last July 12, the Arcanys Early Learning Foundation team organized a SUMUP competition to officially kick off the adoption of the latest ChildUp game in its early learning programs.

For 10 years, the Philippines-based NGO has been using the ChildUp methodology to provide free math coaching to young children and their parents from low-income communities in Cebu City.

During the July 12 event, round after round, 23 players ages 3 to 5 put their addition skills to the test. Beginners played SUMUP-TO-10 while the most advanced players tried their hand at SUMUP-TO-20. As the name of the game suggests, whoever gets precisely 10 or 20 by adding up their cards wins the round.

Congratulations to all the participants: kids, parents, and teachers!
