According to a major study by Academics at Oxford University, children who attend nurseries or spend time with childminders are more likely to develop behavioral and emotional problems and become hyperactive.

The study shows that the home itself has the strongest influence on children, especially on those from low-income families with high levels of parental stress or mental health problems.

Elizabeth Truss, the British Education Minister told recently that large numbers of child care settings were “chaotic”, with children “running around” with “no sense of purpose”.
