– Obese young children have a higher risk of suffering from cardiovascular diseases linked to high cholesterol and high blood pressure. A kid’s weight should be under control from the earliest years. According to a new University of Illinois study, there are three points parents should be aware of to raise fit and healthy children:

  1. Does your child have adequate sleep?

  2. What is the body mass index (BMI) of the parents?

  3. Do you restrict your child’s diet?
